Capstone:
War for Profit Skateboards
This is my Capstone project. I designed 4 skateboards around the theme of war. Each board has their own design and imagery behind them and all represent a different idea within the theme of war.
This is the logo for the brand. It takes inspiration from the Beastie Boys logo of their album Licensed to ill.
This was the first graphic I designed and it shows the anonymity of war. Each soldier is a person with their own lives however we seem to forget this idea and group them under one idea.
This graphic shows the aftermath of war and how it takes it toll win, loose, or draw. The images are from the film Deer Hunter which takes place post Vietnam War and is filled with anti war sentiments.
The Graphic on the left shows a collection of images from different places showing just how diverse war truly is.
The Graphic on the right is design I made showing former President George W. Bush and his famous line about the Afghans having Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD's).
